Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. This treatment has many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Chinese Herbal Medicine

A major part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese herbal medicine has been used for centuries in China, where herbs are considered fundamental therapy for many acute and chronic conditions. At Acupuncture Wellness Center, herbs work alongside your acupuncture treatments to treat a variety of issues.

Gua Sha

Gua sha is the oldest practice of traditional Chinese medicine and has been done for centuries. Gua sha fights the stagnation of energy, "qi," in the body and supports healthy blood and energy flow. As a result, the body will have better circulation. Practitioners use a smooth tool to scrape the skin to encourage these benefits. Gua sha is sometimes referred to as "scraping", "spooning" or "coining".
